Now I did not just go to Qingdao because of the beer, but I figured it would be a waste not to visit the place where Chinas favorite Beer is from 😉
And that would be the Tsingtao Beer Brewery.
It is found on the so called Beer Street, where you will find all kind of restaurants and bars, to go to after your visit 😉
Well let’s start the picture tour, shall we?
First Problem, find the building, thankfully it could be seen from afar 😉
Once inside the Museum was well made and actually gave decent information, even in English 😉
This is how you get your beer in the summer season, sadly not an option in the cold winter weather =(
On it goes to the antique parts of the factory…the tank still smelled like beer =D
You even could play random games…there where actually families with kids there..really people? Kids in a Beer Factory?!
Well that must have been yummy in the old days xD
Half way through you get the first beer…tiny glass but the snack is a plus =D
First I thought I took the wrong turn…but now it is getting interesting 😉
They actually show you parts of the production…it was pretty cool getting to peak inside of the factory and seeing the “behind the scenes”.
Later on there where games again and I ended up testing the drunk room, without being drunk yet xD Simply a very slanted room, but a fun idea =D
YES something that comes close to German Sausages…You get two of these if you take the 70Rmb ticket option and they where not to bad…well and I was hungry 😀
All you can drink for me…and here the Bar Keeper filled the whole thing up for me…well “Prost” is all I say to this =)
…and yes I finished the whole thing…I do not have to mention that I maybe was a tad tipsy afterwards^^
So now some quick information for you, if you want to visit too 😉
There are two different tickets.
- 50Rmb- Including two small beer glasses
- 70 Rmb- Including all you can drink (in 2hours) and 2 sausages
Guess which deal I had 😉
Otherwise entry is from 8:30-16:30, the beer restaurant at the end is open a tad longer…and here is the Adress for your Taxi Driver: 青岛啤酒博物馆, 登州路56号
There are also Buses, best ask at your Hostel/Hotel which would be best for you to take^^
That’s it for today…liked it, pin it/share it^^ and if you go drink a beer for me too 😛
